Oh how I wish I was invited to the star-studded opening of the Model as a Muse:Embodying Fashion exhibit at Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. From designers to models all the way to actors and socialites, everyone who something in today’s fashion elite was there to see be one of the first to witness the exhibit that honored those iconic models from 1947 to 1997. What can be better than timeline in fashion? The will be open until August 9, 2009, so if you are really a fashionista like you say you are you will most definitely include this in your list of summer events::.

My boyfriend and I love dinning at new places. Yesterday we ate at Fincastles Diner where the juke box is on full blast and the smell of fresh American cuisine is in the air. Fincastles is a diner that gives that old fashioned style feel of cooking. I had the hot dog platter with everything on it and a side of onion rings. Nooooo!!! Say it ain’t so, say it ain’t so!!! Its official, Kelis has filed for divorce from Nas. You would think being 7 months pregnant would bring a halt to this dilemma, but when one’s not happy what it there to do. According to Vibe Magazine a spokesperson for Kelis reported this issue to their site and also asked for privacy during this troubling time. Now Kelis is my girl, but I be damned if I file for a divorce while I’m over here throwing up, farting, and got a belly the size of a beach ball.
